The Lowara C Series of centrifugal threaded stainless steel pumps is a broad range of pumps designed for both industrial and domestic requirements. The pumps are available in single impeller (CEA) and dual impeller (CA) models. The single impeller – CEA-CEA (N) Series – and dual impeller – CA-CA (N) Series - are used mainly in the civil, industrial and agricultural sectors to handle mechanically and chemically non-aggressive water and liquids. Made from AISI 304 stainless steel, they are also used for water supply, irrigation and hot, cold and refrigerated water circulation.
The specific "N" version of pumps is made entirely from AISI 316 stainless steels and is suitable for aggressive liquids. The applications include reverse osmosis where demineralised water is used, thermal waters, industrial washing, dispensing of chlorine in swimming pools, jewellery industry and wine production. The single impeller, close-coupled centrifugal pump features axial suction and radial discharge. The pump is coupled directly to the motor. There is a rotating assembly with a back pull out design. This eliminates the need to disconnect the pump body from the pipeline. There are threaded suction and discharge ports.
The pumps deliver up to 31 cubic metres per hour of liquid at temperatures ranging between -10 degrees C and +84 degrees C for the standard version and between -10 degrees C and +110degrees C for the "N" versions. The CA-CA (N) twin impeller centrifugal pump series comes in standard versions made from AISI 304 stainless steel for non-aggressive liquids and AISI 316 stainless steels for aggressive liquids. In both the CA and CEA versions, the mechanical seal is made of ceramic /carbon rings and NBR elastomers. In the "N" versions, the seals are made of EDPM. The maximum operating pressure for both versions of pumps is 8 bar.
